Clutch pak
Does anyone know how much an estimated cost is to rebuild the clutch pak in an 8.8" rear? I recently blew my posi, because I noticed the car doesn't peel out as good as it use to and there is only 1 tire mark.

I have seen new FMS clutch packs for as low as 40 to as high as 60 for the new clutches and steels. Plus you figure 12 to 15 bucks for the friction modifier, and new gear oil and gasket. I'd guess just under a hundered bucks to do it right.

In Houston, Tx. Pyle Bros Perf. Differentials. You get 4 clutches per side, shims, a heavy duty center spring, and instructions. For $100.00. My last one, lasted 6 years, I just redone it. Look at my 60ft, it speaks for itself.

clutch pak
Go for the metal clutch pak, stay away from the fiber. You only need to add 2 bottles of friction modifier instead of one. I burned up my fiber clutch pak in 2 months. Metal grabs a lot better.
