well first u can kinda just look at them and see if the rubber looks cracked but u can also try lifting the motor like superman i guess and see if you can move the motor up and there is a gap inbetween the metal and the rubber
later that same thud drove me krazy in my car for like 3months and then i was very angry when i found out it was somthing that simple
