ARP makes a stepped head bolt that will eliminate the need for 'spacers' ...should you decide to go with standard 7/16" bolts/studs, I have a set of spacers that were used on my Edel. RPM 6025 heads with the stock block. I now have an R302 block (1/2" stud bosses) and no longer need them. PM me if you need them... If you want a picture of them holler, and I'll post one.
