![]() I have 17 X 9 Cobra R's and 255/40 nittos. I want to do some suspension mods on the car...It doesnt look like there is much room in the fenderwells as it is. Can I lower my car?? What springs offer better handling without lowering the car to much...I hate scraping and bottoming out.

![]() Don't lower it anymore then 1". I dropped mine 2" and had to roll my fender lips so they don't cut into my tires. If you do lower it, dont' forget to get caster/camber plates so you can align your front end correctly. IMO: don't lower your car. I dropped it 2" and now it's back up to stock height. I got tired of worring about going over speed bumps and stuff like that.

![]() The FRPP C springs are advertised as lowering the car 7/8" in the front and 1/2" in the back. The price isn't bad either.

![]() Use some #550 (in that area) springs for a daily driver. Personally I had the Eibach ones and loved them.
