Default Yeah, I'm confused

Ok, I purchased an alternator off a 95 GT today. I've read sssoo many ways to install and am very very confused. They gave me the connectors with the SN95 alternator. Is there an easy way to use these connectors with the stockish wiring?? If I were going to go to Autozone or any other parts store, what would I buy to install this? Thanx in advance

Also the pulley on the 3g alt is bigger than the 2g alt and I have a spare underdrive pulley for the alt that is exactly between the 2 sizes, which pulley should I use on the 3g?

have you seen any pictures to go along with your reading?
pictures help out alot.
did you see this site? http://www.racesystems.com/3gproj/index.htm

as for the pulley I would probably use the one that came with the 3g or the underdrive one that is the middle one of the three if you want to under drive it.

Yeah I swapped the 2 3/4" pulley that came on it out for the 2 1/2" pulley. That 1/4 inch definately made a difference. We'll see how it goes for a while and I may even put on the 2 1/4" pulley in the near future. But overall , the 3G upgrade was pretty easy once I understood everything.

You are "overdriving" your alternator. An underdrive pulley on an accessory will be larger. The crank pulley will be the only one that is smaller. What you have is a stock 3G pulley, and 2 overdrive pulleys. Go back to the stock 3G pulley, or buy the correct underdrive pulley for it.
