The only way I could see air from an 'alternate source' getting in an causing problems is a vacuum leak in the intake tract between the MAF and the cylinder heads.
If you have extra air coming in from a ram air kit the computer compensates properly for this type of thing and more air + more fuel per time in the proper proportions is more power. |
