Default Professional products intake??

I was thinking of purchasing one of the typhoon series intakes that professional products makes to sit on top of my edelbrock 6037 heads. It looks just like the edelbrock and I can get it for way cheaper. I believe I even saw one tested in 5.0 magazine but I can't remember the #'s it put up. Is this intake too good to be true??? I would really appreciate any input that you guys have.

Default Typhoon

I have heard mixed reviews on this intake. Yes, it is cheap. It is exactly like the Performer RPM except in quality. Some fit great... others don't. Most have casting blemishes that need to be cleaned up for the intake to be smooth on the inside. I would try to find a used Edelbrock on the internet or Ebay and have a quality intake. I found a Performer for $150 on Ebay and it was never even used. I got lucky though.
