![]() either way 700 is going to cost you big money, to give you an example these are some of the things that you might need to do it right.
-aftermarket block(dart) $2000 -408 forged stroker kit $1600+ -machining and balancing/assy. $1500+ -tremec tko/c4/c6-$1600-$2400 -lots of suspension-$1000+ -built 8.8 or 9" rearend-$800-$1300 -heads-$1200 -porting for heads $1000 -slicks -intake headers k member i could go on and on in other words, to do it right your looking at $10,000-$15,000 unless you just plopped a 460 stroked (514) in it, with a 250hp shot. but that would probably rip the car apart. i would just build a 347 w/ t-76 ball bearing turbo with a dart block and all forged internals. with 20+ psi. i sat down and tried adding up how much i have spent on my car over the past 2 years, I GOT TO $12,000 AND GAVE UP. all the little things add up, when you go big and do it right. just my .02 |

![]() sn95gt19 is right, look at your budget before you start. I'm looking at talking roughly 2 years to build my car, but it will be a 700-900hp monster, so I'm willing to wait. Going to cost at least $15,000 too. ~Brian
