Power Heads and TFS Intake...Cam?
ok, this is the last time, I promise.
I think I'm going to go the powerheads route... for the cost of a pair of alumn heads, I can get the power heads and an intake. Well, not exactly... but it helps. I was thinking about the powerheads and a TFS Street Heat. It's a daily driver, but it needs some more balls. I'll slap on some scorpion rockers and so then I wanted to know what cam ... I'm guessing some E B or X? I dont care if it idles like crap... I want to get the most power possible out of this thing, without going full out race -as

I would recomend the TFS stage 1 or 2 cam depending on how you wanted your idle to be and how high you are planning on spinning it.

I hope that intake does not kill your bottom end. A cobra, you can do a little clean up, or a power products intake may be a better choice.

The explore intake is as good as the cobra and GT-40 intake.
I used to have the cobra intake. Just for the hell of it I switched to the explorer upper to see if it would help any. I went from an all time best 100mph pass to consistent 100mph runs. I sold my cobra upper and now use the explorer. The lower intake is the same for the GT-40, cobra and explorer intake. Also the complete explorer intake is only 200 bucks on ebay

Well, as it turns out, I found a pretty good deal on some twisted wedge heads, street heat intake, with Edelbrock 70mm TB, and some 1.6 FMS roller rockers... so with those peices that I landed, what about cam, shoudl I stay stock, or go with some TFS cam, or an alphabet cam?

I would get a trick flow stage 1.
If you are ever going to put a blower on the car use the stage 2. The alphabet cams are old out dated grinds that are more suited to carburated cars anyway. The Trickflow will serve you well for the same price.
