Default could use some technical help

okay im trading my whole tremec 3550 set up for a c4 with a 3800 stall how do i know if this stall is good for my combo. here is my combo i have 373s in the rear on a 26x10 slick with a 306 edelbrock heads rpm air gap intake demon 650 carb 1.7rr the cam is a custom grind the duration is 218/230 the lift is .3010/.3010 and the lobe seperation is 110.0 and i also have a 150-200 shot on there that i havnt used yet. will this stall converter and tranny work for my setup. thanks for any help

which edelbrock heads do you have...whats the lift on your cam? a stock cam is 444????

are you selling the tremec or actually doing a trade for a c4?

they are the edelbrock performer rpm 1.9 intake 1.6 ex and i think the lift is .3010 @50 i dont have my cam cardf iwth me right now and i was either looking to sell it or trade it for a complete c4 or aod setup

that cant be the right number.....like i said a stock 5.0 cam has 444

find the cam card and let me know

Lift at the valve is .512 with 1.7 rockers.

1986 four-eyed LX coupe, 358 Cleveland, Tremec TKO600/centerforce clutch, dish cut Probe forged pistons, comp cams hyd.roller cam, .579/.588@224/230, Edel.performer, 670 holley street avenger, CPR custom built long tubes, ported and polished 4bbl heads, manley valves, beehive springs, MSD peo-billet dist/MSD6AL, fluidamper, 5 lug conv. with 17x8 bullits there's more but it's still not finished yet.
Oh, and the oldest boy is turning his 89 GT into a FFR cobra this next summer.

Thats a very odd sounding cam grind to me ?? 12 degrees duration seperation ??
At any rate .. you don't have anything that needs that much stall. Then again to much won't hurt anything except drivability. If you find your cam card, post the numbers i'd like to see them.

The .301 is lobe lift, if you multiply that by 1.7 (the rocker ratio) you have a valve lift of .512

yup the cam spec's are 218/230 .512/.512 the .301 is the lobe lift
