injectors?
Not sure if they make 35lb. injectors for the 5.0?? They make 36lbers though. Either way...that is WAY TOO BIG of an injector for your application. Why would you want such huge injectors?? Unless you plan on putting a blower on sometime soon, you will just be wasting gas. Your mileage will drop tremendously. Even with a blower...30lbers should be enough, depending on how much boost you're running. I checked out your mods in the engine specs. section of user's rides. If you still have the same set up...you definitely want to stick with the stock 19lb. injectors. They can handle up to 300-320hp. Many guys running aftermarket heads with big valves, intake and a cam, still run 19s. Stick with those and spend your money on something that will actually benefit your car.

I am thinking that you can get those for free, or really cheap. They will be fine for the 331 and the blower, but not untill the blower. And at that time you will need a MAF and a computer chip that knows what size they are. For free, go ahead and get them, just don't put them on right now. And have them tested to make sure they work and work properly before you install them and have problems.

what you have to find out is if the turbo svo mustang eec's used a batch fire or sequencial fire injection . if they batch fire then they are high impedence , if they are sequencial , then they are low impedence . Most high performance import set ups with 4 cylinders used low impedence so I would guess they would be low , but don't quote me on that . You definitely need high for the 5 litre mustang eec .

Mike is right, you will need a High impedance (saturated) injector to work in the ECM your running. High impedance injectors have an input resistance of 13 to 18 ohms. Low impedance (peak and hold) injectors are typically 2.5 to 4 ohms. Test the resistance before you try them or you will burn out the ECM.

The injectors off a Turbocoupe are 35# and have an inpedance of 2.35 ohms. Therefore they will not work. BUT, the injectors off SUPERCOUPES with the 3.8L V6 supercharged are 36#ers with an impedance of 14.5 ohms and WILL work.
Here's a good website on injectors. http://www.geocities.com/ttskipp/injector.html The Mustang computer works with injectors with about 11-18ohms impedance. Good source for junkyard 24#ers....460 trucks, V10's, Lincoln Mark VIII's with DOHC.
