I'm running that cam in my 83 and I love it. Its a big healthy cam that people will notice when you pull into an intersection. It has a good idle but people notice its cammed. Maybe in a FI car it will be a little more smooth but it hasn't given me any vacuum problems that I can think of.

I have TRW flat top pistons, but they do have notches in them so just check to make sure you have valve clearance before you fire it up.

I have a Windsor Jrs on my car and this cam is way to big for them. They can't flow nearly enough to keep up. I think that is why I am down on power compared to similar combos.
