Default CAM Question

I have a comp HR 282 and the cam card said install it at 108.
I just line the dots and put it in. If i degreed it in would i be able to tell a difference in power.

108 intake centerline is just the reference point that comp uses. 108 is where the cam was designed to run, but that dosn't mean it will make the most power there. If it makes you feel any better when I installed and degreed my cam I just lined up the dots and it came out to exactly 108.
