Default fuel injector questions

I still have stock 19 lbs. and a stock maf so i figure i should upgrade at the same time. The question is what size injector should i get? I havnt had it on a dyno but i have to be pushing 300 rwhp and i am ordering a systemax or Rpm2 and have future plans of either a supercharger or the new Edelbrock plate system nitrous kit for the RPM 2 intake. The fuel injector calculator on this site says that i should have larger injectors already. Are my injectors holding it back any? It doesnt seem to starve for fuel.

Ford sells 2 sets of injectors, one matched set and one not. Does it make much of a difference? Is so ill go with the matched ones because i get a really good deal on motorsport parts through my work.

Thanks for the help

That's good the 19's have gotten you this far. With adding the new intake 24's would do, but your going to need 30's/36's when you add boost/nitrous. Depends on the amount of boost/nitrous really, but I don't want you to under cut the fuel supply. Putting in 36's now with the stock ECM controller might run a little on the rich side, but can be helped with some tuning. However I would go with the matched set of injectors, they will give you better performance. I'd say to decide on either supercharging or nitrous before ordering a MAF meter. If your going to run boost get a Pro-M Blow Thru meter (75-80mm). If nitrous you could get a standard meter.

how much horsepower or what 1/4 times will i be capable with the 30 lbs. Can you go too big as long as the maf sensor is calibrated? I rather not have to buy new injectors again after a power adder.

thanks for the help

If you can send me an email address I can send you a cool little stand alone program that I think will help you out, it's only about 108KB. I've put 36's in cars, you just have to find a happy medium with the fuel pressure, normally yes the MAF being calibrated for the size helps alot.
