1 chamber flowmasters
I have a muffler question guys. I have 1 5/8 shortie headers, off road h-pipe and 2 chamber flows. This setup isnt the sound im looking for. I heard the 1 chambers flows sound real nice. Im looking for that agressive muscle car sound. Can anyone more less describe how my car will sound with the 1 chambers with my setup? If not, will this muffler do the job for me. More than likely im going to purchase them but I just wanted to hear what you guys think. Thanks for reading.

well, in my opinion... the "classic muscle car" sound can really only be achieved with a high compression engine, big cam and Glass packs. If you're lookin' for loud, then snag some straight through, perf. core mufflers from E-bay. They sound like **** on a honda, and rumble real nice on a V-8.

You may want to try an off-road X-pipe. I think they sound 10 times better then an H-pipe. As far as the 1 chambers, I'm not sure if the sound will change. I think mainly it will just be louder, but with the same general sound.

high compression really makes for a loud ripping exhaust....and agree that it's the only way to get that aggressive sound.
