My Griffin fit with no modifications to the fan shroud necessary. The only 'mod' I had to do was bend out the top brackets a little so that they would hold the beefy radiator in place. No biggie at all.
Yes, the fan is closer to the radiator than the stock one was, but it's no where close to rubbing. Same with the pulleys. My Griffin was for 87-93 Mustangs, not sure of the size, but it has worked great.  E
