Default 1 7/8 longtubes......cant find them???

i am putting a set of afr 225's on my motor and they say to use a 1 7/8 header. i cannot find a 1 7/8 longtube w/ 3" collector anywhere. this is for a 95gt

if anyone knows where i can get a set...new or used please let me know.

they have KOOKS custum headers. Prepare to bust out the cash. It is worth it though.

$900....... thats for stainless steel 1 7/8 w/ 3" collector.

ALL I GOTTA SAY IS "OUCH"

ordering them on friday.......looks like im gonna be eating peanut butter and jelly for a couple weeks.LOL

Yeah, if you are going with something that big, Kooks is about the only way to go. Very pricey, though.

you might wanna look for a local place that will make them.. I'm sure there's some custom exhaust places that would do something like that.. 900 is ALOT of money for headers, you should just run the pipes through the hood like a monster truck or something

The big chunk of that $900 is the jet-hot coating, which is done inside and out on kooks headers, at least last I heard.....

$625-bare headers (he said they will rust instantly if not jet hotted)

$275-upgrade to stainless steel

i think im just going to go with the stainless because the jet hot coating is going to cost me the same as going stainless. and they will last forever (hopefully)
