Default lowering?

How much should one lower a mustang '89 LX? I was thinking of going about 1 1/2 inches in the front and 1 inch in the back...i dont know if this is a good amount or not and should i lower it equally between the front and the back? And are the tires going to rub if i turn sharply?

Default

1 1/2 is a good number to lower it. I lowered both my Mustangs to 2" all the way around and I ended up having problems later on. (My alunium drive shaft would rub, fenders would rub tires, scrape the bottom, etc...)
