We run factory 460 iron heads. DOVES are great and I agree Cobras are way big for the average bracket guy, street, forget it.
I don't know many that can lump down 8k on a motor, or why. I see those guys on those TV shows do it all the time. I have a wife, no can do. We have built some stout 460's for around 3k. Heck, you can get a complete set of DOVE heads around here for $500 or less.
