Ack, amidst my motor rebuild I screwed up...(ford guru's needed!)
Well, i ended up getting the wrong timming chain cover for my 95 mustang GT. The problem is, the timming chain cover i got, I do not know which vehicle it came off of, is there any way to find out? The casting number on the one I have is RF-E8AE-6059-AA. Is there anywhere I can find out what timming chain cover this came off of, and if so can I use this one in my mustang without many modifications?
If not, what casting numbers will I need to have the proper timming chain cover? Thanks in advance for your help! Last edited by chickendreamer; 03-25-2003 at 09:00 AM.. |

If it is a ford part and dealership with a parts department and a computer can tell you where it came from.

why can't you re-use your original timing cover?
