![]() Well, you could get some D.O.T approved slicks...
But they will prob wear out fast if you drive it much. ------------------ 347 Stroker Motor: Balanced, Cobra Transmission, Extrude Ported and Polished Upper and ported Lower, GT40 Milled Ported and Polished Heads, B303 Cam, BBK 1 5/8 Headers, 30lb Bosch Injectors, Holley AFPR, March Underdrive Pulleys, Perma-Cool Fan, 3-Core Radiator, Accel Performance Coil, Accel 300+ Racing Wires, Ram Air, K&N Filter, 73mm Vortech MAF, 70mm TB, FlowMaster Exhaust w/BBK Offroad H-Pipe, Hurst Shifter, 3:55 Gears, Ram Clutch, Cross Drilled Rotors, AC and Smog del, rear seat del. |

![]() If you are going to be doing any driving, get DRs. No reason to get tickets for illegal tire tred while just driving downt he street. Well I don't know the laws by you, but in Illinois you need tred

![]() Its not illegal tire tread if its Department of Transportation approved. These will give you much better traction than DR. But if you plan on doing much driving on the road I do agree that DR will be better.

![]() I just put a pair of Nitto 555R DRs on this afternoon. $329 mounted and balanced. They sure seem to hook a LOT better than my Yokohamas - I was getting 2.2 60 foot times with those my only time out at the track. I'm trying to get some people to head up to Famoso this Friday night to try these out.
