Default Gears?????

Ok my gears seem to be shi**ing on me. So i am decideding to go with a new set. What will be the the best gear for my car i already have 373's but i believe i want somthing steaper. So i am thinking of 4:10's. Do you think i should go with somthing steaper than that??? I just think my car could use a steaper gear

SOME ADVICE
Don't do burn outs in reverse it is very expensive

Auto or stick? If stick stay with the 3.73's. If its an Auto car go to 4.10's

Default gears

Stick with 3.73s...especially if you are driving on the street any. Unless you have drag radials...it's almost impossible to hook up in 1st gear with 4.10s.

I have drag radials but they are not installed yet
i really wanna go with a steeper gear then just put in 373's again

4.30's were the best street gear I ever put in my car and I ran it with both the T5 and AOD with 'em. If you can't hook it with the 4.30's, then find some different tires!

430's hmm i was thinking about it what does the car top out at 88? I just bought some upper and lower control arms. So that should help me out a little.
nice if one more person says 4.30's i am going to order a set but i have no idea when i will install them(he he)

With 26" slicks I hit the rev limiter at 111 mph. If I shift 5th the front tires leave the pavment and it starts getting scary, yea right

On the street I use a 275-15-60. Perfect.

4.30:1 4.30:1 4.30:1 4.30:1 ................... Get the point! You can always start out in 2nd gear on the street! For the max in the 1/4 mile ................. 4.30:1 4.30:1 4.30:1 .................................................. .................................................. ..............enough said!
