erikd93lx there is only one way to race.... HARD ....... go give your car **** this weekend and see what it really can do. You may impress yourself.
LOL!! I know what the car is capable of, I just don't have the funds or time right now to go to the track. The first time I ran it out there I only had about 3000 miles on my motor and I knew the transmission was on its last leg so I was kind of taking it easy. Now, 19,000 miles and 3 T5's later, I would be willing to run it hard if I had the time and money. The only thing I am worried about now is axles and torque boxes. BUT, my motor is coming out this weekend. I am selling the shortblock to a friend and putting a "stock" motor in the car to sell it. I will be throwing together a 302 with new rings/bearings with ported E7TE's, an F303 cam, 24# injectors, roller rockers, and a few other very small mods. The car will once again be a high 13 second car but I'll come out better selling it piece by piece. I will see what the motor is capable of in my friends car because he isn't shy when it comes to racing, I expect to see 11's out of it n/a.
