my mustang's radiator is leaking, so i have decided to buy an aluminum radiator. While i am at it i have also decided to add an electric fan, but i have a hard time spending $200 on a fan. Does anyone no of an electric fan from the junkyard that would be a good fit on a mustang? something that would provide adiquite cooling. Does anyone no approx how much hp an electric fan would free up? thanx for any imput!!

Fans
Do a Google search for Lincoln Mark VII electric fans - a
real high capacity electric fan. Also look at the home page of www.fordmuscle.com for a good article detailing install of a Taurus V6 fan, incl controls, relay, etc. Thing is, you need a 130 amp alternator. Do a search for that, too, there's a bunch of good how-to's on that out there. |
