3.73 to 4.30
Any ideas on about how many mph/et I'd pick up from my previous best of 8.65@83.4 on Futuras (2.01) last year.
I'll be shooting for 8.20s on 245/50/16 BFG drs at 87.

e.t will change as long as you have good traction but mph won't change much. mph show how much hp your making so unless you change soemthing that way it'll stay close to same.

Dang, yall are making me feel bad Car put down 290/284 with a bad carb and horrible air fuel.
Since then, I've replaced the carb and al ds. Should be close to 300rw judging by the "butt -o-meter." At the local 1/8mile, it just doesn't have enough "umph" out of the hole. I think its the cam (224/228 .556/.563 109 lsa) mix matched with these wimpy 3.73s holding back the mph. Thanks for the replies, I plan on having these 4.30s in by the end of the month.

Dark, if that's what happened, you have other issues. Compair time slips, their is no way that evey point of the run was the same. If you can see where the 4.30 were worse, then you can "fix" that and you ET will get better.
