Default Finally got a 5.0!

I want to say hello to everyone and share my joy with finally getting a 5.0! I've been following these forums pretty closely for the last several months and have learned a lot about these cars. I'm 18 and a freshman in college in MD. After looking for a GT for about a year, my dad and I finally found me this car - my first car (yeah, I made it through high school without one so I could save $ and get a stang). Anyway, I'm so glad my search is over and I'm looking forward to gettin' this leadsled convertible movin!

I actually do have a question as well. Has anyone had to replace the lift cylinder for the top on their car? My top won't go down right now. Does anyone know about how much this part costs and how much of a job it is to replace? Thanks a lot.

Never had to do any work on the vert that I owned but I would suggest looking thu www.mustangparts.com or try mustansunlimited.com Also, i would suggest buying a hayes or chilton repair manual. Good Luck
