I don't yet know if this is coming from the intake or not. I bought MAC cold air induction kit (for the fenderwell) at FFW at Commerce GA for a pretty good discounted price

, and installed it a few days ago. Car drives good still but is making this sound now. Sounds like it could be just a loud air sucking noise since the air box silencer was removed. Has this happened to any of you? I just want to know if this is normal or not. Wanna confirm what I'm hearing. Thanks.

Same thing with my BBK fenderwell kit. Sounds like a 'sucking' noise as you open up the throttle. Mine is most noticible between low rpms and the initial 'hit' of the throttle. I think the sound is kind of cool.

I think what you're hearing is normal. E

Yep. I forgot to mention that the sound is heard at the end of each gear (1, 2 ,3, 4) When the throttle is initially opened. Yeah, I think it's kinda cool too. Just wanted to make sure it wasnt' something else. Thanks Eric.

I get the same sound, but the CAI alone didn't do it for me. I never heard it until I got my 70mm tb.

			 My CAI really suck! LOL

Yup mine does the same thing. With the hood open at idle you can hear it too, but its louder when stepping on the gas quick.
