Default 460 in a Fox

This may not be the right area to post this, but does anyone here have pics of a 460 in a Fox body? I'm thinking of going that route with my 84 hatch and just want to hear about anything you guys know. Like is it tough to get a pan, headers, mounts or anything like that? Also, what manual transmissions will work with a 460? Thanks.

I was going to do a similar swap, but gave up because I didn't have the time.

I know you have to get a rear slump oil pan(cheap at a junk yard),
motor motor mounts(Summit carries them), and headers(Summit also carries them).

And a new hood

Their is a guy in Calgary, Alberta who has done the swap, he is very help full if you need help.

His web site is http://members.tripod.com/tomak3/page4.html

Good Luck

Holcomb Motorsports also carries a bunch of parts for 351 and 460 swaps.

If you are planning on uses powerbrakes, then you will need to convert ot hydroost, cause the valve covers will hit the bosster for the stock brakes.

Actually if you use early style factory valve covers you dont have to do that. They dont have a "Flat top" top them they are more triangle shaped just for enough rocker clearance and that allows you to use regular brakes.

Can you still use roller rockers with those valve covers?
