Unhappy New times and new problems

Ok guys well check out the new times. Dont ever let anyone tell u that nitto dr's dont hook up. Well now i need a new tranny mount and the driver side rear shock is now blown. It was hooking so hard that it squated and blew my shock. I think i need gears how do you guys feel about that. 4.3's should work. Also i still had the 150lb system in the hatch nothing taken out at all. I think that is what did in the shock. car was chirping 2nd 3rd and 4th but there is not enough torque..... My question is though i will be running a 150 shot of juice and do u think 4.3's will be to much? Also is my trap speed going down due to all the traction?

thanks
raini

Don't do burn outs in reverse it is very expensive

With 150 shot 4.3's will be way too much. you'd hit the limter at 110-112 mph so i'd say stay with the 3.73 if you plan on using nitrous unless you get a taller tire.

i think the tires are almost 25inches tall, i am shifting into 4th like 150ft before the finish line

with 3.73's?? that doesn't make sence. i have 3.73's and i am shifting into 4th right arounf the 1/8 mile and my mph at the end of 1/4 is 105. my tires are around 26" tall.

Keep your 3.73s especially if you add the n20.

Seems like your mph is all over the place. And your carrying a passenger and a 150 stereo?

LOOSE THAT STUFF.

BTW, get some slicks a 2.0 60' isnt bad, but its nothing great either. Lets see some high 1.6's. w/ a good tire.

I think you're gonna need to get your driving down to be a bit more consitant 3-4mph is a lot to fluxuate run to run.

I think i am having issues with the ignition module. It seems that some times ill jump on it and it really will go other times the car doesnt seem like it is running to its full potential. Yeah i need to drop the stereo i just havent had enough time to work on the car really.

Nitto DR's DONT hook up!

Seriously though, I wouldnt call a 2.0 60ft time hooking up. Its not excessively spinning, but its not nearly what it could be.

keep the gears you've got if you plan on spraying it. Especially with drag radials, cause you are gonna have a REALLY hard time getting them to hook with the nitrous, let alone more gear.

Yeah well the first run i didnt post i had a 1.8 60 ft but then on the second run i blew out the shock and then it didnt hook anylonger. Does anyone else have any problems with the pass side tire spinning, i droped the tire pressure in that one so it would hook better

If your REALLY dropping the clutch at 5000 and its dead hooking and your getting a 2.0 you have a bad clutch thats slipping or something.

I drop at 5200 and get 1.71-1.69 60's.
