Is Explorer intake as good as a Cobra?
Are the lowers identical?
Whats the diffrence in the uppers? How about that new typhoon intake? anyone got one? I hear they're as good as a cobra??

The explorer is almost as good, flows tiny bit less than cobra/gt-40, but ported it can outflow a lot of them, i heard the typhoon is good, and alot of power gains from it, but im hesitant on it since it isnt edelbrock quality

Here are the results of an actual flow test. The Explorer is every bit as good as the Cobra - they use the same lower...............

Everybit as good, especially when ported.
can't beat the price either, I picked mine up for $150 a few years ago. Only bad part is the intake is even uglier than the stocker!

I used to see an add in 5.0 or mm&ff about a salvage
co. in G.A. (i think) who sold them with fuel rails,injectors and all for like $350. Anyone know about this?I can't remember or find the ad agian. Where's the cheapest place to get one?Junkyards where I live don't have them.
