Default Stock camshaft

Does anyone know the lift and duration on a stock 5.0 camshaft. I am wanting to know so I can compare the difference between aftermarket and stock.

Here is the information I got from "How to Build and Modify Ford Fuel-Injected 5.0 Liter V-8 Engines" byTom Wilson

Stock 5.0 HO Mustang
Cam Lift Intake .278 Exhaust .278
Duration @ .050-inch tappet lift Intake .210 Exhaust .210
valve lift 1.6 rockers Intake .444 Exhaust .444
Lobe Seperation 115 degrees

If you don't want to do a cam right away do 1.7 rockers
Valve lift with 1.7 rockers Intake .473 Exhaust .473

If your car is stock a good cam is the Ford Motorsport E303.
I had the E303 in a stock motor and lift was .498 with 1.6 rockers and 282 advertised duration and duration at .050 was 220.5 if you do the E303 with 1.7 rockers then lift is .529 Intake and Exhaust.

If you want your car to have a lumpy idle get around a 110 Intake Center Line.

You can also call comp cams, they are very helpful.

I hope this is of some help, I also would recommend buying the book I sighted at the top it has been very informational.
