306 street fighter from Coast High. short-block
I plan on buying a 306 short block from Coast High Performance, www.coasthigh.com . do you guys recommend them? I was planning on this combo.
306-short block AFR 185's or 165's haven't really decided yet (61cc chambers) 279/289 duration .493/.510 lift cam Edelbrock performer 5.0 intake C&L or Pro-M maf-24lbs. injectors Diablo sport chip hoping this will get me into the high 12's but not sure. I'm also going to be switching over to a full bassani exhaust system. Headers, x-pipe w/cats, and quiet thunder cat back. Also would 165's be sufficient enough to get me into the 12's? high 12's i mean.

I have their 347 kit and like it. As long as you can drive, you should have no problem with 12's.
