If you haven't checked the timing, I wouldn't rule that out. These things need an assload of timing...10 degrees of base advance just to run normal. Never seen a V8 use so much timing stock.

Ok yea the timing could be and issue but my car is in my signature and it has the 19lb injectors and i think it needs more fuel or could it also be something with vaccume or the computers because i didnt erase the computers or do anything to them? -Thanks!

I will almost guarantee that your timing is just off. Be sure to remember to pull the spout connector while setting the timing. Set it to around 14deg btdc and then plug the spout back in.
Wrong timing will make it run like total crap. Oh yeah, and you are completely fine with 19lb injectors. Until you slap a new set of heads on the car, stick with the 19s. And if anyone tells you that you need 24s, then you need to kick them straight in the nuts. set the timing and let us know what happens

Doubt there's any issues with the computer.... Not that would make you run like that anyways. Although, from personal experience, I can tell you to reset the computer any time you change ANY sensors. Computers are very sensitive to such things and in my experience, it seems sometimes they have a hard time adapting to a new sensor after they're used to the original. I reset my computer EVERY TIME I replace ANY sensor... I just do it the cheapo, easy way...kill power to the battery. Fair warning though...you gotta drive it around at various rpms a little bit and floor it a few times before the computer learns the right way. First few floorings it'll probably be very slow.
Have you replaced your prom chip? That's not gonna be a problem at your level of modification, but I'd say you've got enough done that you could see some extra power out of a new one.

Yea i think that the timing would throw it off alot and since the people at the shops that set the timing before put a bunch of marks on the crank that i cant figure our what ones to use and it is too hard to try and find the right one. The computer has kind of been reset becuase the bat. was disconected for weeks and it was slow as **** when i floored it a buch of times and i just pulled it in becuase it counded so horrible. Well i am going to the shop and hopefully they can time it better than what i timed it, but what else should i tell them to look for?? any info or ideas at all would help! THANKS!

Other than the timing....faulty sensors can cause a car to act up too....IAC, TPS, etc. And more obvious things like a weak ignition. So you can't tell what the marks are on the balancer? I had a hard time reading mine on the factory balancer too...cleaned it up and I was just barely able to read what was etched in there.....a new balancer will fix that right up, but talk about a pain in the ***....lol...

Yea the timing was a little off when i took it to the shop and the spark plugs i put in were fouled out and now it runs ok and they took the TPS and reset it to the stock voltage and now they are adjusting the rocker arms becuase i didnt really have to tool to turn over the crank and it just is a pain in the *****. Thanks for the ideas!

Make sure to post how she runs when all of that is done... Sounds like a sweet setup ya got there...
And PKR...jesus! I guess I'm used to SB Chevy's still... A 305 runs 6 degrees base advance.

The 403 is a wolf in sheeps clothing. Unfortunately, they only made them for three years. I got 521hp out of one of the 403's I had, on pump gas.
Take care, ~Chris
