Thumbs up I installed the Tri Ax today in the 92 GT

Feels great! Sooooo much more refined than the stock shifter. Feels soooo good. I'm gonna have to drive it for a week or so to really be able to give suitable critique, but I'm happy with my purchase and it was super easy to install. Thanks to all the people who responded to my previous posts wanting opinions on the Tri Ax.

I've had my Tri-Ax for 3 years now and it's probably the best 200 bucks I've ever spent for my car.

It is the best 80 bux I ever spent. I had a hook up.

I was always missing 3rd until I got the tri ax

I only spent $169 (from Dallas Mustang). They took forever to send it to me though .

I have a Pro 5.0 base but the Tri-Ax handle and a Steeda knob. What a feeling. I love how much the Tri-ax handle is angled toward the driver!!!!

If I had to do it again, I'd prolly just get the Tri-ax in the first place and be done with it.

I've felt the Pro 5.0 at a standstill (car not running) and it felt GREAT except for the short handle. And it didn't feel quite as stiff as the Tri-AX (if I remember correctly). I don't have any prolonged experience with teh Pro 5.0 or the steeda so I can't really compare. From all the things I heard (over and over again), I decided for the Steeda, not necessarily b/c it is a "better" shifter, but b/c I think it is more suited to my driving habits and is more "comfortable" a shifter. If I were building a race car, I think I'd probably would've gone with the Pro 5.0.

Does the Tri-Ax take any kind of breaking in period?
