Oil cooler
Does anyone in here have an oil cooler? What brand, etc. I've been trying to get info on how the Motorsport cooler works, but can't find anything. I'm just trying to cool this car down, after driving too or from the track, towards the end of the run I can tell the oil is getting thinner and causing the water temp to go up. 3000 rpm sustained isn't too healthy for this beast. Pretty soon I hope to be able to get a truck and trailer. Thank you for any insite.

My car came with one since it was a dps car, it looks simple, i had to run a shorter filter so it wouldnt hit the swaybar, but if it's off your fine with a fl1a, i can tell ya that i see alot of people have problems with cooling a smallblock windsor at one time or another, i never have, i run a 180 stat, electric fan, and yes im sure the oil cooler helps.
you might look into getting one for the police stangs, I see on mine there is coolant lines that run through the housing that adapts the filter, and they run into the water pump i think, i'll have to look. i'll always keep my cooler, gives me a piece of mind i guess.
