Post New best times from the track Friday.

Well I made it to the track again and had good results. The weather was perfect in the 60s, low humidity. My best time previous was 12.19@113.
1st and 2nd runs were against a 2001 Z28 SS. My car bogged of the line, the Nitrous didnt work and for some reason only did a 13.4@101 but beat the SS. He only ran 14.5@101 both runs. My 2nd run I found the problem with the nitrous and ended up cutting a 1.68 60' on a pretty much stock suspension and did a 12.20@112.8.
3rd and 4th run was with anothe 2000 Z28 who was only running high 13s. I cut anothe 1.68 60' and ran a 12.15@113.8. 4th and final run I cut a 1.64 60' and ran 12.05@114.6. I was pretty happy for the night.
Thanks

I just put a set of Nitto DRs on my car and was expecting more out of them at the track than I got. My first time out with them I was only able to get a best 60' of 2.0. You're getting some pretty impressive numbers with DRs. Do you still have your sway bar hooked up? What tire pressure are you running? How hot are you getting the tires? What RPM are you launching at and are you slipping the clutch or pretty much dumping it?

Awesome Bill, way to go

My buddy went 13.6 @ 98 on a 1.98 NA, and a 100 shot went 12.27 @ 110 on a 1.67. I see 11's in your future, why not bump that kit to 100?

I am installing my SPEC stage III clutch this weekend, I'll be back to the track after I get it broke in.

Im running MT ET Streets. Sorry. The Nittos are for my street driving.

Rick, Thats what I'll be doing soon. I should be in the 11s with the 100 shot if I don't break anything.
