Squeal - help
When I'm coasting or slightly accelerating I hear a high pitch squeal. If I brake it goes away, the same goes if I turn or speed up(car is loud though)
I have taken my car to a garage and they couldn't find anything. The brakes are good. It has enough power steering fluid. The steering column looks like its touching my long tube headers, but that should be it (because it does it when I'm just going straight) Wiggling my wheel a bit when I'm going straight seems to amplify the squeal. Any ideas?

Couple of suggestions....
Doesn't sound like an idler pulley, but it wouldn't hurt to check. Sometimes they'll only squeal at a certain rpm. Also, could be the wheel bearings. Jack up the car and grab the tire/wheel and try and rock it. It shouldn't have very much play. --nathan

wheel bearing? maybe used or cracked ball joints
could be an aftermarket silencer on the brake pad worn.. sounds a little like my problem i've been having. start off rolling, it kinda ticks, not much a squeal, but a noticible tick.. raise the throtttle to accerate an its gets a lil faster an faster. break, an it goes away? I couldn't realy hear it over my exhaust or cd player but drivin by a large, flat stationary object,(wall or underpass) amplifies the noise. sometimes after brake jobs, new rotors, or conversions, dealers or shops will put on a/m silencers between the caliper an the rotor, (reduces break squeal I think) the sound I heard was the silencer had slipped off an the brake was clampin down on the rotor itself.
