E-303 Cam Review
Ok, due to some crappy circumstances...my B303 cam will be for sale and I'm getting an E-303 installed in a brand new Ford Racing 302 Short Block.
Does anyone have reviews of the E-303? Pros/Cons? I'm not looking for specs...got those already...I just wanna know how it idles and how it performs. Also....does anyone have any sound clips??? I REALLY want to hear this...I'm hoping it'll sound at least HALF as mean as the B-303 did.

The e-cam is notorious for idle problems, it took me a while to get mine to idle right, but i love it! it makes great power for a daily driver, great mid range.
i sit in traffic with it idling, no problems, the b-cam might have a tad bit more lope, but the e in my car sounds wicked, pretty aggressive, sorry no sound clip.

Coupe5oh is right, idle problems, now some people will swear its fine, but I haven't had any luck with an E with idle, even my F was a bit of a pain. Now I've got a carb'd setup with a TFS Stage 2 and it idles great.
I like the TFS Stage 1 for an E cam replacement but I'm not sure if its C.A.R.B. legal, not a huge problem for most people since the sniffer has different standards for different states/provinces. Hope my rambling helps...

Getting rid of the B cam because I was told my fuel delivery system is inadequate for the job...the heads and intake combined would be too good I guess and the 19 lb/hr injectors wouldn't give me enough fuel. I was told I needed to upgrade to 24 lb/hr to run a B-303....I was told the E-303 was the only cam that would work with 19's and my combo.

ya i'd hafta agree.. the B does have more duration than the E but not enought to where u hafta have 24 lb. injectors to run it. personally i'd stick with the B cam, no sense in buyin a new cam if u dont need it. i will say 24 injectors an bigger mass air would help u out a ton, especially since ur upgrading the heads.. take care.

Well it's too late now..the E cam is already in the motor and the B cam is going up for sale. Unfortunately, I don't have the spare cash to get 24 lb/hr injectors and an MAF. My transmission is on its way out...so after the engine gets done, which should be in the next 2 or 3 days, few weeks later I'll get the tranny. Then I'll have no money saved at all and $500+ of credit card debt. Joy.
