Default TFS "R" or Victor 5.0

this will be on a 347 with AFR 185 heads, custom cam, 70mmTB..

not that i think it matters but figure either intake will have a big plate shot on it

I'll take Edelbrock over Trickflows intakes any day. Imo edelbrock has the best intake for every application from a semi stock mustang to a full race car. Only thing though is I'm not sure if they have the plate system for the Victor yet?

yea im looking now...NX has a sweet setup for a Trick flow R for a 300 shot..and the lines are hidden all the way in the back..and yup they make the same for the Victor..i was just thinking it was too large..i figure those heads with the right cam will spin to 6500-7000 b4 they start starving with a 347..that and i wanted to keep it a roller motor so i wont be spining it much above 6500

are you running faster with the 750 than yo were with the vicotr 5.0?
did you pull any vacuum @ WOT with the 70mmTB?

BTW i love you car/setup and is one of the main reasons i am building the 347

I didn't get it to the track yet but it feels a **** load faster. I found out later that my computer was bad so i'm sure that had something to do with it not being as fast as I wanted. Acording to my vacuum gauge it was on zero any time the gas was mashed, so if you are thinking it will be a restriction on your car you will be fine.

Thumbs up just a quick question

just a quick question with those heads and either intake why the 6500 ceiling? Both of those inatkes are good to 7500 plus especially the Victor 5.0?

If you don't mind me asking, and i know this is a sore point with a lot of people what size cam you running?

But with the juice that will make up for any soggy bottoms(end) so it is a great setup, just wondering about the low rpm ceiling.
