Anybody using a 2 step limiter with a 5 speed? Im trying to hook it up with the nuetral safety switch, but it needs 12 volts to make it work and the switch is a ground. Any ideas and or suggestions?

Use a relay. Set it up so that the relay is normally closed (passing power to the 2-step) then opens (drops power) when the neutral safety switch is closed.

Why a neutral safety switch though? Do you have the switch sensing when you're in your burnout gear? Most people with manual trans will hook the 2-step up with their line-lok switch to limit their launch or burnout rpm.

2 things as Jeff has stated, why the neutral safety switch? and also I have hooked them up with a switch to the brakes lights before because, think about it the only time you want it to come on you will have the brake lights one IE burnout, and staging, The reason for the switch is so on the street you can manually turn it off so it doesn't play a factor during regular driving. If you have a line lock that is a good place to wire to as well as stated earlier.

The safety switch is for the clutch, when the clutch is in i want the 2 step to be working so that ican adjust launch rpm and than as soon as i let the clutch out i already have my foot to the floor and it deactivates the 2 step. I dont want to put it in with my line lock because i am consistent on burnout rpm's and it is not a concern. I need to figure out a way to make it work with that switch on the clutch.

Use a relay to switch pos to ground. Car audio/alarm shops use them all the time.
