Help with exhaust
I have a '93 Mustang LX 5.0 and I'm having some exhaust problems. My whole exhaust system is aftermarket performance parts, but for some reason, something is muffling the true sound potential. My exhaust includes, BBK headers, off road h-pipe, and the American Thunder kit with the Flowmaster 2 chamber 40 series mufflers. I just can't figure why my exhaust is so darn quiet. Any ideas please?

hmmmm. off road pipe, with 2 chamber flows and it's too quiet for you? Is it 2 1/2 piping all the way from the headers? try going with some dumps, that will livin it up to your liking maybe.

Yeah, my exhaust is 2 1/2 from front to back. Ok, I haven't heard of "dumps" or maybe I have but different word. What are they?

You can get a set for less than $15 at your local pepboys, they connect to the rear of your mufflers and curve down towards the ground to ensure the excess exhaust fumes collect in the passenger area of the vehicle, most inspection stations will not pass your car without these and some will not pass you without pipes passed the rear axle. But the sound and volume is significantly increased. But it sounds damn mean in my opinion.
