Default This may be dumb question..........but I'm gonna ask anyway!

I am putting Autolite 3924's in my AFR 185's. Which direction do the washers, that are supplied, go on the plug????? My mind is going blank, which it has been doing more and more lately

I have honestly never heard of washers on a spark plug.

Default I've seen washers

But not on mustang heads. I think it depends on clearance that each head needs with the piston. I have washers on my spark plugs in my Honda Passport.

They are actually gaskets, and the proper way to install them is with the wider side towards the spark plug.

Take care,
~Chris

OMG!!! Tell me you're joking!

i'm sorry, i couldn't resist. it really doesn't matter because once it's crushed, it's flat. but technically, the wide side goes to the plug. i promise you won't ever know the difference, though.

Take care,
~Chris
