i have just received an afr catalog a few days ago, and thought their figures were strange. they have a dyno test on a completely stock 1995 automatic mustang gt, and it shows a maximum of 179 horsepower. that same motor/transmission combination was run on horsepower tv, and it showed 150 horsepower on the dyno. it's pretty ****ed-up that afr changed the flow numbers without indicating on the dyno page. i think i'll just have my heads ported and maybe run the magnum 270 cam. i'm looking to get as much low-end torque as i can get.

i have that one. i was surprised to see how well the gt40p heads did on the dyno, with 359 ft lbs. of torque and 336 horsepower. maybe i'll get a pair. i still don't know what cam to use. i'd like a torque peak of 2500 rpm like the '93-'97 lt1's have.
