power loss at 2000-2300rpm?
car is in sig below (5 speed). when at around 1500 rpm's and i mash the gas, the engine will sound right but the tach will slow down at the 2000-2300 range then will fly up past that. it will move up to 2000 normally, then kinda get stuck in that range, then go up normally after around 2300. basically it feels like i'm losing major power in that range. only lasts a second but i dont like the hesitation. it's not noticeable in 1st, barely in 2nd, but very noticable in 3rd and 4th. i dont notice it unless i use a lead foot. i never had this problem before taking off the stock exhaust and bolting a 2 1/2 o/r hpipe and cat back. is this the reason for my loss?
