Default will this get me in the 10's???

i would like to get my 90 lx in the 10's or as close as possible without spraying it or putting a massive supercharger on it. I went a 12.57 with a 1.67 60ft and was still spun a few hundredths away. And there was a decent head wind also. Ive since swapped out my shorties for a set of bbk longtubes so i feel on a good day it will go a 12.20 or so being that everybody else was about a tenth and a half slow because of the head wind that day and i was still spinning a little on those worn out slicks.

i still have the stock maf sensor and stock injectors too..
and an unported cobra intake

my plans...
76mm maf sensor
bigger injectors (what size?)
rpm 2 intake
powerdyne supercharger 9psi (because its cheap and silent)

Along with a good suspension where do you think this will put me? the rest of my set up is in my sig

thanks for the help,

Looks like a solid 11 sec. combo to me... I think you'd need more boost and a custom cam to get you solidly in the 10's, with an effiecient drag suspension, of course.

With the combo you've listed, I would go for 30lbers.

9 psi, 30lbers, 77mm pro-m, rpm2 intake, slicks , cage and a higher stall convertor with good traction i thnik you will be able to see very low 11's if not hi 10's

If you're goal is 10's, I would look into 42 lb injectors minimum, forget the 30's.

Cool

Yes it is a cam. And it alone will make your car get up and fly. You have the rest of the parts.

what are the specs on that cam? will have any valve/ piston issues with the 58cc afr165's? I have an E303 now. What do u think it will run on the motor with that cam along with the long tube bbks i put on it. It had 12.40's in it with the equal shorties and the e303. I made the 12.57 spinning a little and against a decent head wind. I would like to be able to get consistently in the 11's on the motor. Right now i still have the unported cobra intake, stock maf senor and stock injectors....not sure how much the are holding me back but my car doesnt have much up top...just very torquey down low.

thanks for the help

I'd say use the NX274HR, it is meant for a blower motor. Lift is .555/.570 you might need to notch the piston, or retard it a little. I am using the XE274HR. going to be staying N/A though. If you are worried about clearance, the NX264HR would be a good cam as well .512/.512, and is better than the E303. With the blower I'd say 10's are possible. I'd also think about ditching the Cobra intake for an RPM intake.
here is info on the cams:

The HR266 will clear with the 58cc afrs and a totaly stock bottom. 89Grocerygetter has that exact motor. 12.05 @ 114 Full weight car.
