![]() i just got a new pro 5.0 shifter and i think the plastic bushing in the middle is gone if there is supose to be one there in the first place??
can i still use it even thought its gone?? |

![]() ok but did you use the bushing out of the stock shifter or out of an old after market one you had??
and will i have to drop my tranny to put it in ot can i do it from inside the car?? |

![]() I used the stock one, you can do it when you remove the shifter, you don't have to drop the tranny. ~Brian

![]() Mine stayed in the shift linkage in the trans when I took my stock shifter out, so I didn't have to worry about taking it out. I guess if you tried you could break it, but all you'd have to do is take a trip to your local Ford dealership and pickup a new one. ~Brian
