lower intake pro quo...
anyone know the lower intake porthole dimensions for a stock intake?????
can they be ported to a bigger size? |

Yes, and properly done you get 15+HP - paste the link in my signature for more information. Here's the numbers...........
Stock upper intake runner size = 1.588 sqin. (2-9/16" half circles, or 1 1/8" dia + .5"x1.185" rectangle) Stock Lower intake opening @ head = .875" x 1.675" = 1.46 sqin. Stock E7 Head intake runner = 1.05" x 1.90" = 1.995 sqin Stock Lower intake port @ head = .875" x 1.675" = 1.46 sq in Stock Lower Ported = 1.12" x 1.75" = 1.96 sqin 1.96/1.46 = 1.34 or a 34% increase in flow area.
