4 or 5 speed behind 429
Decisions decisions....... latley ive been contemplating not running an auto in the 86 coupe. Its gonan have the 429 and I want a 4 or 5 speed for the fun to drive effect I just dont think the auto will have. What are you guys opinion of what will hold up behind a 429 ( bout 320 horse for now ) There wont be any clutch dumps so im thinking maybe a world class would hold up???

Thats kinda what I was thinking. I have a bud that has several top loaders and peices of toploaders that he has run in his pulling trucks ( bout 900 + horse ) and they hold up for a while in it. I know I wont make near that much power so im thinking I could get one to live for a while and I have a bell for a BBF and a top loader already, but not having the OD would be a downside. Jsut cant decide ya know. I already have the stuff to build a C6, I could just sell that stuff I guess.
