The whole system needs to be flushed when going to R-134, as it will not disperse the original mineral oil. You need to drain the compressor oil and flush with oil, not a flushing solution. They suggest using PAG - 46 oil in Ford compressors. 8 oz. is used in the Mustang. Too much oil can reduce cooling efficiency.

The orifice tube is in the liquid line. It's the one from the condenser to the Evaporator.

You need to put a set of gauges on your system, get the readings, then go from there.
