Arrow Trick Flow Track Heat Intake Question

Well, I've got about an hours work left and I'll be ready to fire up my new combo. However, I need advice on how to tighten the driver's side rear 12-pt nut for the upper intake. I called TF, and they said to 'just slide a 12 pt wrench on it'. Well, my Craftsman 3/8" 12 pt seems to be just a little to 'fat' to slide over this one last nut without hitting intake. I kind of wonder what the engineers were thinking when they came up with this design - or better yet, what they were smoking. Plus with about no working room back there by the firewall, it's a real peach to get to.

So, for those of you with this intake, how did you do it?

ive read of so many posts about the same problem. some people actually ended up grinding their sockets down. others used box wrenches, including me. however its impossible to torque, so i just got it nice and tight!

Eric- I use a box end wrench also. I got a ratchet-wrench if you need one! Best invention ever...well next to a Mustang of course!

most wrenchs have open end and box end O----C <<< lol most all my craftsman wrenchs are ground down to fit
